Adding some photos of Bernie's sister, Sophie

We originally had just Bernie, but he decided one day that he'd like a sister to play with, so from the cold outside he brought Sophie unto us. They met playing outside, and ever since they were inseperable. She would meow at him thru our glass back door, and he'd make the antics to go outside and play with her until we opened the door. At first we weren't really sure what it was that was getting him so excited, but after a while we caught a glimpse of her, and did our job to coax her inside from the cold winter air with all the treats she wanted.

Even though Bassets are very good hunting dogs, Bernie seems to get along with just about any creature, and humans alike. He and Sophie have never had any tiffs, and she'll lay beside him and sleep sometimes as well. He's quite gentle natured and loves attention, and quite squishy, so if you like to hug and snuggle with your pets, Basset Hounds are an excellent choice.

Sophie is a very sweet but also shy cat, I guess a bit of the wilderness in her, so good photos of her are hard to get, but we'll share what we can snag.
