Bernie the Basset Hound

Hello all, and thank you very much for stopping by. My name is Michael, and along with my wife Beth we decided to create this blog about our wonderful Basset Hound named Bernie. Before meeting my wife, I myself had never met a Basset, or knew anyone that had one. Little did I know that my life would be changed forever.

I'm now so partial to this breed and Bernie himself that I'm committed for life. I've never cared about any pet as much before, and I'm so thankful to have had my eyes opened up to such companionship!

I guess the main reason we're writing this today is to help spread awareness of this lovable breed, as we feel that every Basset should have a great home, and also to share our experiences with other Basset Hound owners (or slaves, as they DO tend to make their owners into, haha!).
